Coca-Cola HBC Italia is the best company for those who want to learn and get involved with colleagues who are very prepared and willing to share knowledge and advice.

The objectives to be completed are always clear and there is always a transparent and open sharing of the results obtained by the Line Manager and other relevant stakeholders: all this allows you to understand what you are doing well and what to focus on to improve further.

In addition, for those who want to go the extra mile, there is the opportunity to enter programs such as Fast Forward, which allow you to test yourself together with other colleagues in a new context (outside that of your usual work team) as well as to participate in mentoring and shadowing sessions that involve the whole company.

In a nutshell, it is the perfect company for those who are curious and looking for new goals to achieve.

After other work experiences in Trade-Marketing and Sales in the modern channel, my passion for the world of beverage led me to Coca-Cola HBC Italia, first in the Trade Marketing of the Ho.Re.Ca channel, where I was involved with my team in the relaunch of the 33 cl glass pack, and then continued my experience as National Account dedicated to wholesalers, where I was able to consolidate my Customer Management skills. For a year and a half I have been managing a team of about 40 people with a double level of reporting as Area Manager Lombardy and Liguria. This is perhaps the best work experience I have ever had. Managing people is a great responsibility, guiding them, training them, engaging them and above all helping talents to express their full potential. When you manage resources, the good of people must come before the self, sometimes it is tiring, tiring but it fills the heart. In a sentence: alone we go faster but together we go further.

Having had the opportunity to work for other multinationals, I can say that Coca-Cola HBC Italia is different from other companies.

A young, dynamic, challenging and people-friendly company, which offers great opportunities for growth not only for the opportunities it allows you to seize in terms of the development of your professional career, but above all for the training programs, in Italy and abroad, which allow you to learn, to deal with different cultures, to get to know other markets and to have fun. All these elements create a strong spirit of togetherness and collaboration, which leads you to act as a team, and to win or lose as such.

Managing a team is the most stimulating experience I have had so far. The challenges are many but, from my point of view, the main challenge of the leader is to find a balance between 2 great forces: discipline and freedom.

Becoming part of a solid and cohesive team, being welcomed, and being perceived as a leader is not easy, it requires a lot of commitment and dedication. From day one I listened to my team in order to get to know them as much as possible, I spent days on the market with them, I made myself totally available with the aim of supporting them in achieving their goals and even in carrying out the simplest tasks, which helped me to get to know them and understand the working method. Another key element is trust, which you establish by maintaining the relationship sincere, transparent, questioning yourself and taking responsibility for mistakes thus learning from them.

My journey in Coca-Cola HBC Italia began when I returned to Italy after 2 years of work in Brussels in the world of European institutions. The characteristics I was looking for in a company were many:

  • Internationality, to maintain that European and cross-cultural breath to which I was accustomed.
  • Prospects for training and professional growth, to be able to create a new know-how to integrate with the skills already acquired in my previous experiences.
  • A young and challenging environment, in line with my personal attitude.
  • A solid structure but in constant movement, to learn how a leader moves on the market and evolves with it.

Coca-Cola HBC Italia had all these characteristics and from there the desire to join the Management Trainee Program as a first step was born.

I recommend working at Coca-Cola HBC Italia because it is a mix of "Good Vibes": we seek excellence every day to be close to our customers, to end consumers and we try to do it in a sustainable way. We are lucky enough to work in a team, stimulating each other in a dynamic but at the same time serene and friendly environment. Our motto is "Improve your Potential" and that's why every day with energy, determination and the ability to think outside the box we face all challenges, learn from our mistakes and celebrate our successes!

Coca-Cola HBC Italia is a dynamic and challenging work environment in which we can express ourselves at our best by trying to change the status quo, as a single team. The sense of belonging and awareness of the power of this club are certainly the main drivers that allow us to achieve results that go far beyond expectations. The phrase "People make the company" is not trivial and I think it faithfully reflects Coca-Cola HBC Italia; The strength of this reality is people and in this context we can really express ourselves while remaining ourselves.

At Coca-Cola HBC Italia, the priorities are people and their development. For this reason, it is a meritocratic environment, open to diversity, which knows how to achieve challenging results by strongly believing in error as a source of learning. I felt listened to, valued and enriched professionally and personally at every moment of my career.

Finally, I discovered the courage to change my entire portfolio, the ambition to enter new categories as a leader and the sincerity to admit my mistakes to correct the course; All this to build the company of tomorrow: sustainable and profitable.

From the beginning, the discussion with my colleagues in the sales department allowed me to get closer and learn about different negotiation dynamics and customer care in terms of the service offered. This has enriched my way of thinking, which was previously oriented more towards the supply chain world, allowing me to approach my work (and therefore the various logistics issues) with a greater focus and attention to customer centricity.

How would I describe my work environment in one word? Dynamic. It is a place where employees are stimulated to improve and increase their skills, even through experiences "outside their comfort zone". In this way, a dynamic and challenging workplace is created that allows you to always keep the passion and productivity of your colleagues high.

I joined the company through the Management Trainee Program as Quality Account at the Headquarters in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan). At the end of the course I was offered the position of Quality Assurance Specialist, thanks to which I carried out various experiences, first at the Buccinasco warehouse on the occasion of EXPO in Milan 2015, then starting to support the Italian plants in the implementation of innovation projects related to the world of packaging. In 2016, I participated in the Fast Forward growth program. During 2017 I supported the implementation of the European SPC (Statical Process Control) project, focused on the implementation of continuous monitoring of the main parameters of our company's production processes and subsequent statistical analysis. Since July 2018 I have left the HQ team to join the team of the Marcianise plant and hold the position of Quality Assurance System, following regulatory and corporate compliance issues. Since June 2019 I have held the position of Quality Assurance Supervisor, with particular attention to the areas of sensory analysis, microbiological analysis and packaging.

The fact of being a multinational offers considerable possibilities for contacts and job opportunities even outside Italy, the possibility of measuring oneself against other realities and cultures, also questioning deeply rooted beliefs, but not for this better or truer.

I joined Coca-Cola HBC Greece-Cyprus in February 2015 as a Financial Analyst for Supply Chain, where I was responsible for planning and controlling operating expenses. Later I was promoted to Head of Manufacturing & OPEX for the Greece & Cyprus BU and I controlled production expenses. In June 2017 I moved to Italy in the role of Partner Economics Senior Analyst in the Commercial Finance area. During that time, I also had the opportunity to participate in the Fast Forward growth program together with colleagues from different functions. Since July 2018 I have been promoted to the role of Partner Economics Manager and I am responsible for the financial analysis of innovations, the profitability of the different brands and relations with our businesses.

I joined Coca-Cola HBC Italy a few months before graduating in Management Engineering: I applied directly from the company's website, almost as a bet, because I wanted to start my career in a place that represented me. I then started my journey with a 6-month internship in Planning, during which I realized that I wanted to build a career in Supply Chain. Through the Management Trainee I then moved to Logistics, first to Distribution Development and now to Logistic Excellence.

Today I manage projects that can touch all areas of Logistics: the beauty of my job is that I never do the same thing every day, and I can make my contribution if I find a topic that I am passionate about and that can bring value to the company.

One of the first pieces of advice they gave me as soon as I entered here was to always stay in touch with the most difficult things: this suggestion has remained in my head and I have always tried to apply it, every time I had to choose which project to devote myself to or which path to take.

Even today I realize that it is often from the most difficult things that the greatest satisfactions come.

Because in the morning it makes you wake up with a smile and energy to face a day full of new challenges and meetings with fantastic people!

The environment is positive, dynamic and never banal. Even in the most difficult moments, the satisfaction of bringing home the result and the subsequent celebration is priceless.

The work is 99% in a team and opens you up to relationships with people who have an ambitious, proactive and collaborative spirit, making sure that everyone can row in the same direction. You learn to work as a team, as a family!

Family. Whatever reason you have for having a bad day, entering the office you spontaneously smile and every negative thought passes! An extended family, made up of people before colleagues.

The first months were the most intense from an emotional point of view as the first "real" work experience, moreover in a multinational company. During the first day of work I already felt that "positive pressure" that triggers the adrenaline and the motivation to want to come back immediately the next day to see what happens.

The main goal was to enter a path of personal and professional growth, which would bring added value to the company thanks to my specialization in Logistics during my studies.

The thing that struck me the most and that helped me to go through the impact with the frenetic and indomitable rhythms of Coca-Cola HBC Italia was the moral help and operational support from colleagues. They immediately made me feel part of the team, making themselves available in front of all my questions / curiosities.

When I was contacted by Coca-Cola HBC Italia, it was immediately a great emotion for me: having the opportunity to enter a multinational and dynamic reality was a source of great pride. I was looking for something different and stimulating, and from the first contacts I knew that here I would find what I was looking for. Once I started my journey, the initial impact was immediately positive and the reconfirmations took place in the months to come; I found a youthful and open environment that allows everyone to express themselves at their best and increase their skills freely in a way that is aware of their limits and potential, exchanging opinions and sharing important choices with Senior and Junior profiles.

In the role of HR Planning & Reporting Specialist, I deal with the people cost, budgeting and forecasting part. What I like about my job is the possibility of being able to interface in a cross-functional way between HR, Finance and Business, allowing me to analyze and understand the economic/financial impacts behind the actions that impact the workforce; Numbers often bore us, but if you know how to look at them with the right eye, they allow us to understand many more things than we think we know.

Since the selection phase I had the impression that this was a "different" company, a company where attention to people takes place at 360 degrees, whether they are your boss, your colleagues or Top Managers.

In the same way, the motivation and pride for the t-shirt you wear are "passed" to you indirectly by the whole Coca-Cola HBC Italia world, as well as by the customers themselves.

I would also recommend Coca-Cola HBC Italia for the freedom it gives you to take new paths on your own, to create possible success stories and to present them to the company, obviously always pursuing the established goals.

Grow professionally by growing your business. And you don't grow alone.

Football-wise, it's like having entered the "cantera" of Barcelona. Everyone knows they are in a top team where the best football is expressed thanks to the individuals who are at the service of the group.

Although it is at the beginning of my experience, I have already had the opportunity to measure myself against the "Top Players" of the company, and I don't think there are other places that give you similar opportunities for enrichment.

During the last year of my academic career in Trade Marketing and Commercial Strategies at the University of Parma, I participated in the Placement Day in which I had the opportunity to apply and take part in the assessment with the HR team of Coca-Cola HBC Italia.

After passing the first step, I was selected for a group interview, thanks to which I was able to get to know the company and assert my university background.

In December 2018, immediately after graduating from the master's degree, I completed the selection process with the logic test and the last individual interview.

All this has given me the opportunity to break down the barrier between the world of work and the university world and get to know a multinational business context at the right time in my career.
