We believe in young people, in their talent and in the added value they can bring to a workplace, because they represent the future of our company and of the broader entrepreneurial and social fabric.
From this belief comes #YouthEmpowered, the Coca‑Cola HBC Group program developed in collaboration with our partners Junior Achievement and CivicaMente, designed to support young people aged 16 to 30 in their transition from school to the job market, helping them discover their strengths, talents and develop professional skills to enter the world of work.
Our goal is ambitious but essential: to offer participants of #YouthEmpowered both live and digital courses to develop key Life Skills and Business Skills for their professional careers.
We do this through courses available on our partners’ online platforms and through our #YouthEmpowered workshops, where our colleagues act as mentors, sharing personal and professional experiences to support young people in their growth journey. In addition, with our Ho.Re.Ca. Masterclass project, we offer 4th‑ and 5th‑year high school students the opportunity to learn and engage on specific topics with our colleagues, industry professionals and customers during a series of dedicated online masterclasses.
We devote special attention to gender differences and to diversity and inclusion topics: within Junior Achievement’s “Impresa in Azione” program, for several years we have supported the Girls in STEM Award, promoted by Fondazione Coca‑Cola HBC Italia, to help young women become more aware of potential growth and career paths in STEM fields. In this same spirit, in recent years we have also established two scholarships worth €3,000 each in memory of Enza Cappabianca, to support the academic and professional development of young women in STEM.
Since 2018, more than 300,000 young people across Italy have taken part in the #YOUTHEMPOWERED program.
