Comunità

Comunità Comunità

The history of Coca-Cola HBC in Italy began almost a century ago and, since then, our identity has been strongly intertwined with those of the territories in which we operate. We have become part of communities and associations that represent real partners for us within a shared sustainable growth path. To be businesses and, at the same time, active citizens.

Support on the ground

In 2024 we donated 160,000 products to local associations such as Banco Alimentare, Arché Foundation, Italian Red Cross, Star Judo, de Marchi Foundation, Special Olympics Italia and other local associations. We promoted culture, with partnerships such as the one with Fondazione Arena di Verona, and supported local communities in times of difficulty, as we did together with the Italian Red Cross in the areas affected by the floods in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna.

Investing in the future

We believe in young people, because they represent the future of our company and the entrepreneurial and social fabric.

For them, we are committed to the #YOUTHEMPOWERED project, the program by which we accompany young people between the ages of 16 and 30 in the transition from the world of school to the labor market through training courses, workshops and online workshops.

In addition, as part of Junior Achievement's “Enterprise in Action” program, we gave continuity for the fourth consecutive year to the Girls in STEM award, sponsored by the Coca-Cola HBC Italia Foundation.

Inclusion on the move

We have always supported social inclusion initiatives. Starting with the Special Olympics Games, of which Coca-Cola has been a founding partner and global sponsor since the first edition in 1968.

In 2024, 31 of our colleagues who joined the corporate volunteer effort took the field alongside Special Olympics Italy Athletes participating in the XXXV National Winter Games at the resorts of Sestriere and Pragelato (TO) and in Entracque and Borgo San Dalmazzo (CN), Piedmont.

We were also among the first companies to espouse the cause of LGBTQIA+ rights, committing ourselves inside and outside the organization in the concrete support of local projects and taking to the streets alongside the community for Pride celebrations in the regions in which we operate, such as that of Milan, Naples, Turin and with the Padua Pride Village.
