Milan, 28 September 2021 - Coca-Cola HBC Italia, the main bottler of The Coca-Cola Company brand products in Italy, is in eighth place in the "Food and Beverage Products, other non-durable consumer goods" category of "Italy's Best Employers 2022", the ranking of the 400 Italian companies awarded as the best employers by their employees. This important result confirms the company's particular attention to creating an increasingly inclusive and modern environment and its commitment to doing business by listening to its people.
Conducted and processed independently by Statista, the research is the result of a survey administered from April to May 2021 to workers from the various companies and is based on a direct assessment, i.e. the worker's willingness to advise his or her employer, and an indirect assessment, i.e. the opinion of workers on other employers within the same sector. The winning companies were not informed and had no way of influencing the results.
"I thank all the colleagues who took part in the survey and whose feedback allowed Coca-Cola HBC Italia to obtain this prestigious recognition" – said Emiliano Maria Cappuccitti, Human Resources Director of Coca-Cola HBC Italia "People are the real secret recipe of Coca-Cola and for this reason we continue to strive to create an ideal working environment, where the possibility of personal and professional growth is always ensured"
Even during the emergency, despite the difficulties, Coca-Cola HBC Italia confirmed its commitment to creating an inclusive work environment, as stated in the recent study by SDA Bocconi School of Management which analyzed the socio-economic impact of the company in Italy during 2020. Compared to the national average in the beverage sector, Coca-Cola employs a greater number of women, while, with reference to the average of companies active in Italy, it has a higher number of women executives (44% compared to 17%) and middle managers (36% compared to 29%). The salaries of Coca-Cola's direct employees are higher than the Italian average and, with the same professional qualification, there is less inequality between the remuneration of executives and that of other categories.
