Sesto San Giovanni, 21 June 2021 - Coca-Cola HBC Italia, the main bottler and distributor of The Coca-Cola Company brand products in Italy, has appointed Monica Rispoli as director of the Marcianise (Caserta) plant, the company's largest production plant in Southern Italy. Rispoli, who will take up the role on 22 June, will have the task of ensuring the continuous improvement of production performance and the development of the more than 300 people employed at the site, a strategic industrial reality for the territory, with a strong vocation for sustainable innovation.
"I am proud to become part of the history of the Marcianise plant and to be able to contribute to its growth" said Monica Rispoli "This is an important professional challenge, in one of the historic Coca-Cola houses in the country, in which I know I can count on many professionalism and innovative technologies".
In the company since 2017, Monica has gained significant experience in the production field, holding roles of increasing responsibility, most recently that of Production Area Manager in the Nogara (VR) factory, which have allowed her to confirm solid technical skills, also in the management and development of team professionalism.
Inaugurated in 1974, the Marcianise plant is a center of industrial excellence and sustainability with over 210,000,000 liters produced annually between Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite and FUZETEA in glass, PET and can formats. The main investments in recent years have involved the installation of a high-speed line with a capacity of 120,000 cans per hour, the activation of a photovoltaic system and new state-of-the-art machinery for blowing bottles. Since 20166, the site has had a cogeneration plant to produce energy, heat and chilled water, which allows a reduction in polluting emissions and an increase in energy efficiency.
In her new role, Monica will work alongside Maria Pia Maio, Head of Logistics for all of Southern Italy. From Food Quality and Safety, through Trade Marketing and the sales force, the largest in Italy, Monica's is in fact only the latest in a series of key roles in Coca-Cola HBC Italia held by women: the company currently has 33% women in management positions, compared to 18.3% of the national average. A commitment that is also realized outside with projects such as "Girls in Stem", the initiative with Junior Achievement Italia to fight, from school, the gender stereotypes that distance girls from study paths in technical-scientific subjects.
