Maria Tindara Niosi appointed Director of the Modern Trade Channel of Coca-Cola HBC Italia: female leadership confirmed

The manager will lead one of the largest sales forces dedicated to large-scale distribution in the country, with over 400 people.

Sesto San Giovanni (MI), 1 February 2021 - Coca-Cola HBC Italia, the main bottler of The Coca-Cola Company brand products in Italy, announces the appointment of Maria Tindara Niosi as Director of the Modern Trade channel reporting directly to the Commercial Director Davide Franzetti. Niosi, will be responsible for the large-scale retail channel and will implement commercial strategies in line with the company's 24/7 Total Beverage Partner approach, which aims to offer consumers drinks suitable for every moment of the day, from breakfast to after dinner.

Maria Tindara Niosi, as Director of the Modern Trade channel, will work alongside Silvia Molinaro, Director of the Out of Home channel: the two managers will be in charge of the entire commercial network of Coca-Cola HBC Italia, confirming the company's commitment to creating an inclusive and meritocratic workplace. There is a large female leadership in the company, as confirmed by the incidence of women of 40% in managerial positions compared to the national average of 14%, as well as at the level of middle managers where the presence of women is at 36% compared to 28%*.

Maria Tindara Niosi joined Coca-Cola HBC Italy in 2009 within the commercial team covering various roles with increasing responsibilities in Sales and Trade Marketing, up to the most recent one of Country Category Development Manager. 38 years old, Sicilian, she graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University and began her professional career in 2006 first in Star - Gallina Blanca and then in Bolton Manitoba.
