Sesto San Giovanni, 8 September 2023 - Coca-Cola HBC Italia, the leading manufacturer and distributor of The Coca-Cola Company brand products in Italy, announces 4 new key appointments for the development of the company's strategy and to face an increasingly competitive market: Silvia Molinaro, the new Country Sales Director, is joined by the two new channel directors, Stefaan Anckaert for Out of Home (out of home) and Mike Raven for At Home (modern channel). Maria Tindara Niosi has been appointed Trade Marketing & Commercial Excellence Director.

Silvia Molinaro, the new Country Sales Director of Coca-Cola HBC Italia, has the task of leading one of the main Sales Forces in the country, while strengthening the company's positioning as a 24/7 Total Beverage Partner with 160,000 customers throughout Italy, with a product portfolio capable of covering every consumption occasion, from breakfast to after dinner. At the same time, he is also responsible for managing the development of the company's commercial strategy and implementing customer relations in the modern organized distribution and out-of-home channel.

After a series of experiences in sales, marketing and trade marketing in various consumer goods companies such as Mars, Mondelez and Reckitt Benckiser, Molinaro joined Coca-Cola HBC Italia in 2017, as Trade Marketing Director, to subsequently become Director of the Out of Home Channel in the difficult period of the pandemic, in which she distinguished herself for having reorganized the team and modernized the channel's commercial strategy.

Molinaro is supported by Stefaan Anckaert, the new Out of Home Sales Director, with a key role in defining strategies to compete in the world of out-of-home, promoting increasingly strong partnerships with customers and focusing on identifying new opportunities. Anckaert has extensive experience in the beverage and catering industry: he started his career at Abinbev Belgium in various Sales and Marketing functions, then moved to the role of Out of Home Sales Director for Italy, until he became Managing Director of Birra del Borgo and held the position of Global Director for the bakery company Vandemoortele.

At the helm of the modern channel is Mike Raven, the new Sales Director At Home, with the responsibility of strengthening relations with large-scale retail operators and developing consumption. In Coca-Cola HBC since 2020 in the role of International Key Account Director with responsibility for the Discount channel, he previously held various commercial roles in Danone and Diageo.

Raven succeeds Maria Tindara Niosi who has assumed the key role of Trade Marketing & Commercial Excellence Director, reporting directly to the General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Italy, Miles Karemacher. Niosi is in charge of the development of the commercial marketing strategy of the various sales channels, with the aim of strengthening the positioning of the company and its products in the entire distribution network.

In Coca-Cola HBC Italy since 2009, the manager has held several positions of increasing responsibility in Sales and Trade Marketing, the latest of which is that of Director of the At Home Channel, a role in which she has distinguished herself for having significantly accelerated company performance, contributing to the ambitious goal of positioning Coca-Cola HBC Italy in first place, in terms of value creation, among FMCG companies over the past two years.

The appointments of Molinaro and Niosi testify to the enhancement of female talent in Coca-Cola HBC Italia in top positions: currently the company has 43% women in these roles, further demonstrating the fact that policies relating to career plans, performance management and selection are guided by talent, merit and skills.
