Nogara (VR), September 20, 2025 – Coca-Cola HBC Italy, the main bottler of The Coca-Cola Company branded products in the country, today celebrates the 50th anniversary of its Veneto factory in Nogara, the largest production site in Italy and the leading one in Europe in terms of production capacity.
The celebration event, attended by both former and current employees with their families, saw this morning the participation of Lorenzo Fontana, President of the Chamber of Deputies; Matteo Salvini, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport; Luca Zaia, President of the Veneto Region; Flavio Massimo Pasini, Mayor of Nogara; Damiano Tommasi, Mayor of Verona; Giuseppe Riello, President of Confindustria Verona; as well as the Italian and Group management including Naya Kalogeraki, Chief Operating Officer of Coca-Cola HBC; Miles Karemacher, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Italy; and Luca Santandrea, General Manager of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Milano Cortina 2026 for Coca-Cola Italy.
The plant, where the first Coca-Cola can in Italy was produced in 1975, is today a flagship facility for Coca-Cola production in the country: the factory currently has 11 production lines and a logistics center, covering an area of 266,000 square meters, generating significant employment impact along the entire local supply chain. Involving over 100 local companies, more than 85% of which are small, medium, and micro enterprises, Coca-Cola directly and indirectly creates 3,269 jobs in Veneto (0.15% of the total regional employment), with a total of 7,300 people benefiting from wages generated by Coca-Cola throughout the supply chain.
Continuing its growth journey, this plant will also concretely support the supply chain of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games with its beverages.
