Rimini, August 2019 – Coca-Cola returns to the Rimini Meeting (Fiera di Rimini, 18-24 August) with the project "UPCYCLE, our journey into sustainability": in the South Hall, consumers will be able to discover the opportunities that the circular economy offers and test their knowledge in terms of recycling.
In the dedicated space, Coca-Cola will talk about its commitment in Italy to create value for the communities in which it operates through sustainable growth and in full respect of the environment: a path of innovation with the aim of making production activities increasingly sustainable both from an environmental and energy point of view, and from that relating to packaging and its recycling. Packaging that is already completely recyclable, the use of bottles made with less and less PET, are just a few concrete examples of the recipe put in place by Coca-Cola to reduce the impact on the environment.
The event will also be an opportunity to deepen the importance of virtuous recycling practices and the second life of materials and to dispel some false myths that too often spread, as is happening with plastic.
