If you express your interest in joining the Coca-Cola HBC team, you will provide us with some of your personal data by submitting your application.
Coca-Cola HBC Italia s.r.l. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (hereinafter referred to as "CCHBC", "CCHBC Group", 'our', 'we') are committed to respecting your privacy and handling your personal data in a fair and secure manner.
With this Privacy Policy, we would like to inform you why and how we will process your personal data in the context of the recruitment process and within the respective digital recruiting platforms. This applies to individuals who apply or register with the CCHBC Talent Network, who participate in a recruiting event, who are evaluated by CCHBC or who participate in other recruiting processes.
Unless otherwise indicated, Coca-Cola HBC Italia S.r.l. qualifies as a "data controller" for the processing of your personal data. If you are applying for a job with one of the other companies in the CCHBC Group, then that CCHBC company is also identified as a data controller.
Personal Data We Collect
We may collect personal data directly from you, from third parties or from public sources, as well as automatically, for example through the use of our recruiting platforms.
In this Privacy Policy, "personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. For example, personal data includes: name, e-mail address, IP address and telephone number.
We process your personal data for the sole purpose of assessing your application before entering into any employment contract and in accordance with laws to which CCHBC is subject (e.g., in relation to equal opportunities). If you do not wish to provide us with the requested information, we are unable to evaluate your application or communicate with you.
If we have to collect additional personal data from you, we will inform you of the purposes for which the processing is necessary, for example if it is necessary to fulfil the obligations of the employment contract, to comply with a legal obligation, as well as we will inform you of the possible consequences if you do not provide such data and any risks relating to its use by us.
Personal data that we collect directly from you or that you provide to a recruitment agency on our behalf
1. Identification Information: Title, First Name, Last Name, Birth Data, Language, Gender, Valid Driver's License, National Insurance or Other Identification Number, and Visa, Passport or Work Permit;
2. Contact data: address, telephone, e-mail address and postal address;
3. Job application details: CV or curriculum vitae, application form details, interview notes, certifications, diplomas, professional qualifications and professional experience, language skills, desired salary, start date/notice period to be considered, possession and your image if you voluntarily provide it to us;
4. Health data: through our occupational health assessor, limited to a declaration of fitness for work;
5. Information regarding the interview and assessment:

- Leadership and functional skills test results
- Results of behavior-based assessments of leadership skills (role-plays and trays)
- Results of range-based assessments, data from your interaction with the assessment and analysis of your responses against the success criteria (job fit)
6. Recruiting surveys: We may collect information about our recruiting process, such as how you discovered the job and your visits to recruiting events such as career fairs.
7. Special categories: any disabilities you may have and if you have been long-term unemployed for the sole purpose of monitoring compliance with legislation providing for the recruitment of protected categories.
Personal data we collect automatically
- Information on the use of the website. When you visit our digital recruiting platforms, we collect certain information about your use of the website, including your device's hostname and IP address, browser type and version, device type, unique device identification numbers, geographic location (e.g., country- or city-level location) operating system, the website that referred you to us, the pages you visit on our recruiting platforms, and the time and duration of your visit.
- Cookie. We may use cookies and similar technologies to collect personal data. Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or use an online service. Personal data we collect from third parties
Professional social media: If you include a professional social media link or identifier in the application, we may retrieve information about your professional social media presence from those social media sites.

Publicly accessible personal information: contact information, social connections, professional qualifications, experience and education
Purpose and legal basis of the processing of Personal Data:
a) Job application assessment: Registration of your job application with us and, if your application initiates our selection process, defining the professional summary to assess your job application with a view to potential recruitment, including conducting the interview process, assessing individual skills and competencies, managing the candidate and improving, validating and updating the candidate data in order to ensure its validity and completeness.
b) Basic screening: Screening of educational and professional background before and during work.
c) Contacting you: for information necessary to enter into an employment contract with you
d) To provide you with our IT services via our third-party platforms
Legal basis:
- The execution of the selection process which is authorized by the acceptance of the terms and conditions of the recruiting process and at a later stage, an employment contract.
- To comply with legal obligations of a fiscal and accounting nature.
- We are permitted by law to use certain special categories of data as identified above
- CCHBC has a legitimate interest in using personal data to assess the efficiency of our recruiting processes and to assess your application before entering into an employment contract with us. In addition, if your application is successful, the data collected during the recruitment process period will be retained and its processing will be subject to CCHBC's Employee Privacy Policy. More specifically, your application data, including the personal data you provide in your CV, may be processed for additional employment purposes, for example, so that CCHBC can place you within the organisation on the basis of your experience, professional knowledge, skills and talents.
To maintain an up-to-date database of candidates: Maintain a database of applications in order to be able to contact candidates in case of any future job opportunities that match their profile. Data enrichment is a process used to enhance, validate, and update candidate contact details to ensure accuracy and completeness. Data enrichment can be used for some key categories of personal information that individuals make available to the public on the web.

Automated decision-making
We do not practice automated decision-making for your selection process. We select candidates using a manual selection process, considering the experience and skills appropriate for the job.
How we disclose personal data
We may share your data with other companies in the CCHBC group for the purpose of recruiting for future employment and, if you are employed, as part of the organisation. We limit the processing of data to what is strictly necessary to pursue the purposes mentioned above, and we ask them to agree to maintain the confidentiality of such information.
- CCHBC People&Culture. We may disclose the details of your application to the HR and management teams of other members of the CCHBC Group, such as employees involved in our recruitment and selection processes and their managers.
- CCHBC Talent Acquisition Team. We may disclose your personal data to talent management teams and to
- CCHBC People and Services Team (BSO) providing admin services for your recruiting in the talent acquisition team
- third parties. We may disclose your personal data to:
- IT service providers. third-party service providers who provide us with hosting, maintenance, and other services. These third parties may have access to or process personal data about you as part of providing those services to us,
- Suppliers who carry out pre-employment checks,
- Recruitment companies, or consulting companies that provide online interview services,
- Recruiting agencies that, from time to time, assist us in our recruiting and selection processes.
- In compliance with the law, authorities and law enforcement. We reserve the right to disclose your personal data as required by law or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the security or integrity of our recruiting platforms, or to protect the legitimate interests, rights, property, or safety of CCHBC, its employees, or others, or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or governmental or regulatory request, or any other legal process.
International data transfers
We store your personal data primarily in the country where you apply for a role. However, it is sometimes necessary for us to provide details about your application to the other CCHBC Group companies located outside the European Economic Area for the purposes of your selection. In such a case, we will ensure that such transfers ensure an adequate level of protection of personal data (and use the EU-approved "Model Clauses", where applicable, in order to ensure this).

Data retention periods
We take technical measures to erase your personal data or store it in anonymised form when this information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we process it, unless we are required by law to keep it for a longer period. When determining the retention period, we take into account various criteria, such as the position you applied for, whether the application was successful, the nature and duration of our relationship with you, the expected future job openings corresponding to your profile, the statutory mandatory retention periods, and the related statute of limitations.
If your application is unsuccessful, we will typically retain your application for a period of up to one year, but the specific retention period may differ from one country to another or if you have provided us with consent to retain your personal data for an extended period.
If you have allowed us to consider you for other job opportunities or have joined our Talent Network, we will retain your personal data for a period of 36 months

Your Rights and Choices
If you are based in the EU or we process your personal data in the EU, you have certain rights in relation to the data we collect about you:
- Subject Access: You have the right to access all data held about you by CCHBC generally within 1 month of your request.
- Rectification: You can ask us to amend inaccurate personal data.
- Deletion: You can ask us to delete personal data under certain circumstances in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR and we will take reasonable steps to inform other data controllers who are processing personal data that you have requested the deletion of any links, copies or replications of it.
- Withdrawal of consent: You may withdraw any consent to the processing you have provided to us and prevent further processing if there is no other reason for CCHBC to process your personal data.
- Restriction: You may request that certain personal data be marked as restricted while complaints are resolved and also restrict processing in certain other circumstances.

- Lodge a complaint: You can lodge a complaint about our processing with the data protection regulator – the Personal Data Protection Commission.
