Milan, 04 July 2024 – Coca-Cola HBC Italia, the leading producer and bottler of The Coca-Cola Company brand beverages in Italy, announces the appointment of Harrys Zachariadis as Supply Chain Director for Italy, where he held the role of Manufacturing Director from 2010 to 2013.
Zachariadis will be responsible for contributing to the constant improvement of the Supply Chain structure, which is essential for achieving the objectives in Italy in alignment with the Group's strategies. Particular focus will be dedicated to the constant increase in production, distribution, quality, safety and environmental performance for the company's 6 Italian plants. The advancement of the function is also strongly linked to the development of people and the construction of a solid pipeline of professional growth.
"I am very happy to return to Italy to embark on this new professional chapter of mine. My main objective will be to coordinate the needs of Coca-Cola HBC Italia with those of the Group, supporting the strengthening of the Supply Chain function, with special attention to the development of the teams." says Harrys Zachariadis, Supply Chain Director of Coca-Cola HBC Italia. "I will continue my work by always dedicating the utmost attention to environmental sustainability, which remains a priority for our company, with a particular focus on the path towards zero emissions by 2040 indicated by our international NetZero by 40 program".
Harrys joined Coca-Cola HBC in 1996 in Greece, where he held managerial positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing, until his appointment as Plant Manager. In 2010, he was promoted to Manufacturing Director in Italy, and then took on the same role in Austria and finally at the Regional level (Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovak Republic).
In his last role, as Head of Supply Chain for Region 2 (which includes countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Montenegro, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine), he led his teams in supporting volume growth, while also implementing improvements in service delivery and cost management. All the projects implemented in the Business Units in which he worked were successfully designed and developed, supported by innovative and sustainable solutions always in line with the company's strategies.
