Research study conducted in 2019 by SDA Bocconi, analyzed and quantified the role of Coca-Cola in Italy, in terms of economic and employment impact and support to local communities.
Coca-Cola activities in Italy create, at national level, an employment rate of 29.573 jobs that represents the 0.12% of the Italian total workforce. 66.838 people depend totally or partially on the incomes generated by these jobs.
Considering the economic analysis of the beverage sector, the resources distributed by Coca-Cola are €980 million that represent 25.6% of the total amount in the beverage sector (€3.931 millions) and are distributed as follows:
- 42,7% of resources go to Families
- 31,7% of resources go to Suppliers and Enterprises
- 21,7% of resources go to the Central State
