Diversity & Inclusion

We believe that diversity is a fundamental value and a trigger for positive vibes and opportunities: the assumption for the hiring, the development, the trainings and careers path of almost 2.000 people that work in Coca-Cola HBC Italia’s Head Quarters, plants and sales forces are only their own skills, results and expertise.

LGBTQI+

Even before the approval of the Cirinnà Law, we recognized to our people those rights that we think are pivotal in order to create an inclusive working environment where everyone can express his/her own talent. In the last years we have introduced slight but significant actions as the extension of  insurance coverage including same sexed partners. Following our philosophy of continuous improvement, in 2017 we joined Parks, an association of employers that supports companies in realizing business opportunities related to LGBTQI+ inclusive strategies and, as of 2018, we are partners of Milano Pride.

GENDER EQUALITY

Our commitment in creating a welcoming and merit-based working environment is proven by figures as: 40% of executive positions are covered by women (vs. Italian average rate 14%), the 36% of middle management positions within our Company are covered by women in comparison to the national average of 28%.  In our company, women play a key role and cover strategic positions in all the departments: Marketing, Procurement Office, Quality Assurance, Out of Home Sales Force where the Director, a woman, leads the largest sales force in the country, more than 800 professionals. Our support to women is also proven by several measures that we have introduced through the years to improve the work-life balance as  the possibility to register your entering in the office only once in order to manage your working day with flexibility and introducing the remote working more than 6 years ago.

Moreover, in order to do whatever we can against gender discrimination, we support through Fondazione Coca-Cola HBC Italia the Girls in STEM Award that has the target to fill the gender gap in STEM subjects. The award is given to 5 young students that in the framework of «Impresa in Azione», the largest program for entrepreneurship education in Italian high-schools, prove their leadership skills, their entrepreneurial mindset and their know-how in STEM subjects.
